In this blog post, we will discuss the LUTH cut off mark for Nursing for the 2024/2025 academic session
Lagos University Teaching Hospital cut off mark forĀ Nursing
The LUTH cut off mark for all NursingĀ student is 200. However, it is important to note that this is just the minimum cut off mark.
The actual cut off mark is usually from 250 up as the departmental cutoff Mark, but may be higher, depending on the number of applicants and the performance of the applicants in the JAMB UTME examination.
In addition to the JAMB UTME score, applicants must also pass the LUTH entrance examination and interview. The entrance examination will test the applicant’s knowledge of Nursing concepts and procedures.
The interview will assess the applicant’s communication skills, problem-solving skills, and motivation for a career in Nursing.
Can I study Nursing with 160 in Lagos University Teaching Hospital?
yes, you can study nursing with a jamb score of 160 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital but, it’s not all ways possible sometimes.
the reasons is that 160 is quite small for admission into any nursing or science courses, however your chances of getting admitted depends on your performance on other activities like putme, interview and your working skills if your incase told to practice.
so if you have a minimum of 160 on your jamb result, I will advise you to work hard and take the exam again for a better point and scores to avoid passing some unnecessary stress and questions.
